Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 11:35AM Kanika and Sherman are getting married this October in Alexandria, VA with their reception at the gorgeous Gaylord National Hotel in DC. They wanted the DC cherry blossoms as a backdrop for their engagement pictures, and they made a great choice - the pictures are beautiful!

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:13PM Katie and Alex know how to make opposites work!. Katie is excitable and bubbly and Alex is laid-back and mellow - together, they make a perfect pair. Their wedding was bold and fun (their wedding colors were black and hot pink - loved it!), yet soft and romantic (the bridal party and every guest held a lit candle) at the same time. Their reception...no opposites there! Lots of happiness, laughter and love!

Weddings Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 09:04PM Katie and Rob were married at the AMAZINGLY beautiful College of Notre Dame Marikel Chapel. Their wedding day wasn't bright and sunny, but the rain didn't dampen anyone's mood (in fact, rain on your wedding day is lucky...and if you look closely at Katie and Rob's wedding pictures, you'll find some beautiful rainbows :)! Katie and Rob - your wedding couldn't have been any more beautiful, and we are so happy for the two of you!

Weddings Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 12:16AM Jason and I were lucky enough to be invited to our 2nd High School Fashion Show this year - this time at John Carroll High School. It is really fun being able to participate in these shows - each high school does it differently so they are all entertaining to watch! John Carroll's fashion show models strut the catwalk (to some great music...loved the dj!). The models looked amazing (including some of the teachers and faculty that participated!) and the event was catered by local restaurants (delicious!). A lot of hard work went into this event, and it was fantastic!

Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 03:16PM Recently Patterson Mill High School had their First (Hopefully Annual!) Senior Fashion Show, and J. Thomas Photography was lucky enough to be a part of it. Jason shot the model headshots (like he has done in the past years for Bel Air High School) and he photographed the show. We also had a table at the Prom Expo that was held beforehand - it was great to see some of the seniors and parents of seniors that Jason shot this past year!
Below are some pictures from the show - what a great group of kids! Their first fashion show went off without a hitch, and we definitely look forward to working with the Huskies again next year! (p.s. - Deb, another job well-done!)
